History of Phu Quoc fish sauce

Phu Quoc fish sauce association was established in October 2000 according to Decision No. 220/QD-UB dated October 22, 2000 of the People’s Committee of Phu Quoc district. The association currently has 83 members, with a production capacity of 20 million liters of fish sauce per year.

Phu Quoc Fish Sauce Association is a professional association of workers including business owners engaged in anchovy fishing, traditional fish sauce production establishments and fish sauce trading units and individuals. within Phu Quoc district, including Vietnamese units and enterprises, joint-venture enterprises, enterprises with 100% foreign investment capital, regardless of whether they are State-owned enterprises or private enterprises, joint-stock companies part or limited company.
